The time is finally here. The day we have all been waiting for. The Netflix gods have smiled upon us and blessed us with the release of season 12 of "Grey’s Anatomy." Yes, this season has recently aired on prime time television, but who watches that anymore? I mean, how can you seriously wait a week to see what happens in Meredith Grey’s life? I just sitting through the credits at the end of each episode before the next one plays is difficult for me. So just in time for summer binge watching, the twelfth season has been added to Netflix.
Season 11 left me emotionally shattered. With Jackson and April’s marriage being put through a war zone (literally), Karev and Jo moving into their own place, the spot for chief up for grabs, and oh-Derek’s death, season eleven left me emotionally drained. After all the heartbreak she’s caused us, Ms. Shonda Rhimes really owes us a great season filled with joy and love and lives being saved, but somehow, I doubt that’s what we’ll be getting. But whatever emotions these next 24 episodes bring, we can always count on our beloved characters to perfectly portray our feelings.
When you find out Season 12 is coming to Netflix:
Happier than Arizona when she finds a heart for a newborn baby.
Then when you realize Derek won't be in it:
What do you mean he'll never be on my TV screen again?
And then you relive his death and get angry at Shonda all over again:
It's a love/hate type of thing.
Then you realize Cristina is gone too:
But you were my *imaginary* person...
So part of you doesn't even want to watch it because there is no way it can be good with out Derek and Cristina:
What's the point anymore?
But then you remember Meredith and Karev on their first day as interns and you know you can't give up on them now:
But then you miss George and Izzie.
The suspense is killing you and you finally start the first episode:
So many episodes. So many possibilities.
And you're hooked two minutes in:
You'll be done with this season in three days, tops.
