It is really easy to get mad at yourself.

It is even easier to get upset with others. However, something that does not come easily is taking the negative and turning it into something positive. Turning the negative into positive has changed my life, and I know it can change yours as well. I hope this can give you the push to change your thinking and your approach to life.

It is critical to stay away from allness statements. The word nevershould be taken out of your vocabulary. It is easier to be content being in the middle than it is to be on either side of a spectrum. Extremes are not the answer. Balance is key.

You can also take the negative and turn it into something great by seeing the good in the bad.

A stressful situation can be an opportunity to prove to yourself what you can do. A long line at the bookstore when buying books for the new semester can be an opportunity to make a new friend. Being stuck in traffic can be an opportunity to reflect on what's going on around you and to be grateful for having somewhere to be late to.

Turning the negative into something greater is not the easiest.

It is not the most viable option at the time. By keeping your head up and exuding positivity, you can make a difference. The world is already filled with so much negativity, it's hard to deflect at times. It is better to be conscious of what you put into the universe than to give the people around you a hard time. Positivity can smooth over negativity, as long as you keep changing the negatives into positives. This is the greatest thing you can do for yourself and others.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
