Energy and Motivation Are The Key

How to Boost Your Energy and Increase Motivation

If there are two things that go together in life it would be energy and motivation. Think back, for just a moment, to the last time you knew you needed to get something done and for some reason you just lacked the energy to get yourself motivated. It could be something as simple as taking out the trash or a project you've been meaning to get to but were always too 'tired' to get it started. If this sounds like you, here are some simple tips on boosting your energy in order to motivate yourself to get up and get moving!

Your Diet Is a Key Component

It can't be said often enough that you really are what you eat. Forget that fast food drive-thru and go for whole foods high in fiber and nutrients. Of course, you probably won't get all the nutrients quickly enough because they have been lacking for so many years, but there are ways to increase nutrients quickly. According to the Le-Vel Thrive 8 Week program to weight loss and better health, you can supplement your diet with the good things in life. That would be vitamins, minerals and probiotics. The point is to flush out the toxins built up in your intestines in order for the nutrients to be better absorbed. Rid yourself of toxic buildup and see just how quickly motivation returns.

Water Is the Source of Life

Do you know how much of your body is comprised of water? In men, water makes up just about 65 percent of their body while women, having a higher fat content, are made up of 55 percent water. If you want to boost energy in order to increase motivation, you must replenish water daily. If you find that you simply lack energy, flush yourself with at least 8 cups of water a day. Not only will this help to flush toxins out of your system, but water will also be sent to cells throughout the body which have become dehydrated.

Step-by-Step and Day-by-Day

Just remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. If you are on a weight loss regimen, for example, crash diets just won't do it. You'll soon tire of going hungry and you'll be right back where you started and sometimes even worse off than before. It's a fact that overweight people lack energy and in turn, find it hard to get motivated to do anything at all. That's where and why the term "couch potato" came from. The longer you sit there eating and chilling, the harder it will be to do anything other than to sit there wallowing in self-pity.

Reach the End Goal One Step at a Time

The biggest problem which many people experience is that they try to do too much too soon. That's why the Le-Vel 8 Week Thrive program is so successful. You are getting your body slowly acquainted with healthier lifestyle choices while providing the nutrients needed to replenish those cells which are literally starving. You may be eating a lot, but are you eating the right things? Le-Vel supplements and patches can give you the nutrients needed for energy leading to increased motivation, but don't try to do it all in a day. Success takes time, so take it step-by-step and see just how well your body adapts to a healthier lifestyle.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
