Every college student knows that finals week comes around at the end of every semester. It is a determining factor on whether your grade in a specific class will rise above or sink to the bottom.
Does anyone want to fail? NO!
Everyone wants to pass their finals but if certain things aren't done beforehand, your chances of passing with flying colors are slim to none!
Here are a few ways to prepare for all of your final exams:
1. STUDY!
Obviously, you have to study! The professor lets you know when the final is and what will be on it the moment you step into class at the beginning of the semester. This means, waiting until the night before is NOT SMART! If you know it is a harder subject, begin studying two weeks to a month before!
2. SLEEP!
Sleep is so important to us being able to function. Try to fix your sleeping habits to where you get 8 hours of sleep every night. Your body will thank you while you're wide awake for your exams!
3. EAT! (Healthy = Happy)
A healthy diet is directly linked to brain performance! Eating foods high in omega-3 and protein are especially good, along with dark, leafy veggies! Eight full-size glasses of water every day will have your mind sharp as well!
4. EXERCISE!
Exercising is the ultimate stress reducer. You're literally able to work the stress out of your body. Finals are definitely stressful, but they don't have to be! Go to the gym! Do some exercises in your dorm or apartment! Either way, don't just let stress take you over. Work it out!
5. ASK FOR HELP!
There's bound to be some things you may not remember from the beginning of the year. Don't accept that! Your professors are always there to help! Go to their office hours, even if it's for just one question you think is too small — It may turn into a conversation about more than you may not remember or understand! Get into study groups! Some people may be stronger at understanding a different topic than you and vice-versa! Help each other out!
