With just about three months off from school, there's often a family vacation planned at some point. As much as we all love our parents, spending an entire week sharing a hotel room with them can make us a little crazy.
Your parents always start by saying they've planned an amazing vacation to some place wonderful.
Later on they add that it involves a 12-hour car ride with all of your siblings sitting side by side in the family van.
But you know everything is going to be okay as soon as you get there and can lay on the beach freely.
Although, it turns out your parents had a different idea of how the vacation would go.
They just can't seem to understand that you're not the same little girl you used to be and they want nothing more then some good old "family time."
Once you realize this, all of your plans are suddenly ruined and you want nothing to do with this vacation.
But after spending some time with your siblings, things are starting to seem a lot better then you'd thought.
In the end, you're able to make some amazing memories while your entire family ends up happy, and you're so thankful for everything that's happened.
