Welcome back to another semester of college. You've got your summer tan (most of you do at least), you've had a long break, you're moved in and well, you're back and (maybe) ready to college again.
Here's a list of things you might be feeling as you head into the educational battlefield that is College.
1. I forgot this, and that, oh shoot I probably should've brought that...
From planners, to snacks, to clothes, we all probably forgot something back home. But for Marquette students, there was nothing like a downpour during O-Fest that'll make you wish you had remembered your raincoat or umbrella.
2. I wish there was more time between moving in and starting classes so I didn't have to learn stuff yet
Why don't we just procrastinate on classes too, maybe wait a couple days, weeks, months... years?
3. WOW FRIENDS
You've been waiting to get back with your homies all summer, don't lie.
4. Was I really like that freshman year...?
Running to classes, wearing lanyards, and getting lost everywhere, excuse me while I cringe trying to relive the first couple weeks of my freshman year. Sure, the age of discovery is fun and all, but wow do they look so small.
5. Food dilemmas
Whether it be worrying about how to avoid dorm food while saving your bank account, or it be learning how to make time for meal prepping, there's always some kind of problem when it comes to eating in college.
6. Goodbye summer money
By now, you've probably started to buy textbooks and you can definitely say sayonara to all the bank you made this summer. If you haven't bought them yet... brace yourselves and your bank account.
With all the busy schedules and the need to be successful, I hope this article gave you a good laugh and I wish you the best this semester.
