As of recently, I have become quite intolerant to gluten and any wheat products in general. In the beginning of December, I started having severe stomach aches and pains and anxiety attacks. I felt so out of control of my own body, and I truly had no idea what was happening to me. When I visited my home doctor, and other specialists as well, they all came to the conclusion that I should just cut wheat out of my diet entirely, just to see if I would feel any better.
After one day of going gluten free, I never felt so pain free. My stomach was no longer sore, my moods improved, and I wouldn’t get anxiety attacks over small stuff.
Going gluten free has truly changed me into a healthier me because I feel more energized, I don’t get tired after eating meals, and I feel happier.
Additionally, I also have been drinking a lot of beverages and powders that have probiotics in them, and they have helped me greatly. I feel like a stronger version of myself after figuring out what has been hurting my physical and mental health. By putting good, wholesome, healthy foods in my body my lifestyle has improved so much.
As the saying goes, “You are what you eat,” which is entirely true. With the vast amount of vegetables, fruits, and healthy meats I eat, my body feels healthier and happier.
