The character Scrooge seems like he can't relate to college students at all, but there are some things in A Christmas Carol that are surprisingly similar to the reality of our lives as college kids.
When you and your friend face a person you don't like
When you're so dead from studying all night but realize you slept late the next morning
When you're just not interested in the group project at all
When the professor gives too much work to handle and he/she refuses to effectively help you
When you try to look like you know what you're doing with an assignment
When you wake up hungover from last night but realize it's the weekend so there's no class
When you show up to the first day looking strong and prepared
...Compared to the last day of classes when you've had the breath knocked out of you from all the work you put up with
When you're just done with how the instructor keeps saying something is easy while it's not
When you try to explain to your boss what went wrong
When you prepared yourself to accept that you might fail but are still scared out of your mind
When you have the unfortunate revelation that you're living with a crazy roommate
