Season 42 of Saturday Night Live will be full of big changes. The new season premieres on Oct. 1st, on NBC.

Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah, and Jon Rudnitsky will be leaving the show to make room for new cast members Mikey Day, Alex Moffat, and Melissa Villaseñor. Furthermore, SNL hired seven new writers and promoted two new co-head writers.

The internet has been buzzing about who should host or perform on SNL this season. Of course, there are many actors out there that can and have hosted the show. At the same time, there are many actors that surprisingly have never hosted SNL before. Based on that information, here are 20 people I think would make great hosts this season.

1. Tracee Ellis Ross

She is known as Dr. Rainbow Johnson on ABC's Black-ish and recently became the first black actress in 30 years to receive an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Wow!

2. Bill Hader

Hader last hosted in 2014, so it is about time for him to bring back Stefon Meyers.

3. Margot Robbie

This actress killed it in Suicide Squad and rumor has it that she will co-produce a Harley Quinn solo film. It would be interesting to see how she would perform on a sketch comedy show.

4. Simone Biles

She has been trying to get the Final Five to host SNL and I don't see why not!

5. John Oliver

Oliver has brought the news to us in an entertaining way on his successful show, Last Week Tonight. Let's get him out of the newsroom and onstage at SNL.

6. Mindy Kaling

Kaling was a guest writer for SNL in 2006 but has never hosted.

7. Key and/or Peele

Both of these guys could take anything SNL would throw at them.

8. Mila Kunis

Every "Who Should Host SNL" list mentions Mila Kunis. She's an internet favorite.

9. Dave Franco

James Franco has hosted SNL enough times. Let his little bro have a chance!

10. Beyoncé

It will be a beautiful day when queen Bey graces the SNL stage.

11. Jared Leto

Leto has been known for his method acting, so he may get a little carried away with his characters on SNL.

12. Leonardo DiCaprio

This man finally won an oscar. Let him host!

13. Rihanna

If Rihanna hosts, I would assume that Drake would make an appearance. The two of them are great together, so why not?

14. Nick Offerman

How has he never hosted SNL?

15. Donald Glover

Glover, aka Childish Gambino, is known for playing Troy on Community as well as his musical talent.

16. Nicki Minaj

Minaj has appeared in a few sketches and may do well as a host this season.

17. John Stamos

Stamos has been successful on television lately with Grandfathered, Scream Queens, and Fuller House. If he has more buzz-worthy projects to promote, he should host SNL.

18. Neil Patrick Harris

Harris hosted in 2009 and is due for another SNL gig.

19. Jesse Tyler Ferguson

This one is for the Modern Family fans out there.

20. Meryl Streep

Streep is a talented actress who can do well in comedy. After all of these years, she still hasn't hosted.

Let's wait and see how many of these actors and musicians get the chance to host SNL this season!
