"Spongebob Squarepants" is a show meant for children, but I've found that my life as a college student is pretty similar to what goes on in the Bikini Bottom. Take a look at these 12 horrors of college life depicted by this crazy show.

1. First, this is you when you wake up...on a good day.

Your alarm rings and you wake up with a 5 o'clock shadow even though you've never had facial hair before and your eyebrows are a mess but that's just how you look now.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
