My personal favorite genre of music has always been holiday music. There’s nothing like Christmas music to get you pumped up for the holiday season. Whether it’s current pop jams or throwback holiday Sinatra, holiday music is just all around goooood vibes. Here’s some personal favorites that keep me jammin’ over the holidays:

1. All I Want for Christmas is You (Mariah Carey)

... (duh). I’m sorry but there’s a slim chance it will ever get old. Regardless of what genre we’re talking about, this might just be one of the greatest songs of all time.

2. The Merry Christmas Lil Mama Album by Chance the Rapper and Jeremih.

This album is super underrated and full of amazing christmas jams. My personal favorite is “Shoulda Left You”. This album is definitely different from the Christmas music you’re used to, which is what makes it so amazing!

3. Santa Tell Me (Ariana Grande)

SERIOUSLY A BOP! I never get tired of hearing some Ariana for the holiday season.

4. Wit It This Christmas (Ariana Grande)

Another underrated Christmas song, by Ariana Grande. This R&B Christmas jam is a vibe.

5. This Christmas (Donny Hathaway)

An absolute R&B classic. I could never get sick of this one.

6.The Christmas Song (Christina Aguilera Remix)

This remix “sleighs”. Super catchy and Xtina's vocals are amazing

7. Anything off the Michael Buble Christmas Album

I mean like...cmon. What’s better than some Michael Buble during the holidays?!

8.Fa La La (Justin Bieber feat. Boys ll Men)

Justin Bieber+Boys ll Men=Perfection for the holidays.

9. Santa Claus is Comin to Town (Bruce Springsteen)

Nothing gets a family, like mine, from New Jersey more lit than Bruce Springsteen’s rendition of Santa Claus is coming to town. Will most likely be played at all family Christmas gatherings

10. The Destiny’s Child (DC) Christmas Medley.

Enough said.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
