"It's the most wonderful time of the year," most of us think about the period of time from Thanksgiving (or Halloween for some) to New Years. We get to spend the end of the year with celebrations and vacations and plenty of time with family and friends. Every year we set out to have the best Holiday season ever, and yet the same things seem to happen every year...
1. Finishing Black Friday shopping, only to find that you spent more money than you would've on a normal day.
2. 12:00 A.M. on December 1st... let the overdecorating begin!
3. Pretending to enjoy the cold because winter is "festive."
4. Realizing that you're broke and can't afford to buy the wonderful gifts that your friends and family deserve.
5. Attempting to find the perfect outfit for every gift exchange and holiday party.
6. Realizing school is still very much happening, and you still very much need to be studying.
7. Eating... a lot.
8. Eating so much that you refuse to go anywhere near a scale.
9. Doing festive activities (ice skating, gingerbread houses, looking at lights, etc.) just to take festive Instagram photos.
10. That feeling when you're FINALLY on break.
11. ...only to remember how much homework you've been assigned.
12. Constantly being exhausted, but you know it's supposed to all be fun.
13. In the end, just being grateful for a brief break from having typical struggles... and instead, having struggles covered up by Christmas tree scented candles!
