It's that time of year college students. Sophomores and Juniors are frantically on the hunt for those precious summer internships. It's time to put on those blazers and dress shoes and try to impress those recruiters.

You have been working for hours perfecting you resume and writing cover letters. You have searched high and low for all the internships that interest you. You may or may not get so stressed out you call your parents in full panic mode or pure bliss over getting one interview. This time of year is stressful for everyone. It makes you think about graduation and your future. You are making the realization that you are about to be full fledge adult. You look into your future and that 40 hour work week and doing your own taxes is full speed ahead. Your friends are all starting to get their internship and you are starting to figure out where everyone will be living this summer. You are anxious and excited at the same time.

So employers, please hire us. We may not be great at interviewing yet, and we may not have the most impressive experience, but we are ready to work and learn a lot. I know we may seem like a nuisance at times, but you are helping us prepare for our future careers and we are helping you by brining fresh ideas to your company. We promise to work hard and prove to you that you made the right choice to hire us.

So students, finish up those last applications and nail those last interviews. Finals and summer are quickly approaching and its time to make the decisions. It's about time to trade your backpack in for a briefcase.
