High school can be the best or worst four years of your life. Whether you love every minute of high school or cannot wait to get out, here are 5 high school problems you don't worry about in college.

1. Dress Code

This is my favorite thing about college. The dress code at my high school was extremely unfair. We weren't allowed to wear shorts, legging, tank tops, or anything comfy. It was awful having to wear jeans in 90 degree weather. In college, professors could not care less about your wardrobe.

2. Talking In Front Of The Whole Class

Ok, if you take the class public speaking or communications there will be some... public speaking. For the most part, your lecture classes will contain about 50+ students. Your social anxiety will be thankful for no public speeches.

3. Getting Your Cell Phone Taken

I hated when my cell phone would get taken by my high school teacher and I would have to pay to get it back. Some professor's do ask that you don't have your phones out but for the most part they really don't care.

4. No Fun Clubs

My high school had some clubs but no where near all the activities in college. There is a club for anything and everything! It's a great way to get involved around your school and meet new people.

5. Group Projects

Personally, I hate group projects. I am usually the person who ends up doing the whole thing by myself. I get partnered with lazy people who do not care about their grade. Unless you have a small class, you usually will not have group projects.

Going to college can be a happy new transition. Knowing these high school problems don't happen make the change even more exciting!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
