Here's to finding your dream struggle.

Here's to surging forward and finally meeting with opposition. Here's to graduating from aimlessly coasting through an empty life to pushing with every ounce of your might against that one thing you couldn't get out of your head. Here's to soreness down to your bones after doing battle with the obstacles to what you love. You might be battered, but you should take a look at the other guy.

Here's to lying awake at night and dreaming of possibility after possibility without sleeping a wink. Here's to dangerously considering an all-nighter when it's not even 6 PM. Here's to those ideas that keep you awake at night, the ones that perhaps you could shake, but you have no desire to do so. Here's to the smile I hope is plastered to your sleep-deprived face as you stumble out of bed in the morning, solutions at hand, ready to put every single one of your possibilities into action.

Here's to every failure you encounter along the way. Here's to all the ways that a lack of success makes success itself sweeter than words can describe. Here's to the rejections that teach you what you need to make it over the wall, to the "no" that finally unlocks the last requirement for a "yes" to follow. Here's to the moment you realize that the failure you faced has only fueled your fire because you've finally found that thing that's worth your fight.

Here's to the people that think you're insane. Friends and family included. Here's to that weird look you get when you start describing all that you want to accomplish, even if it isn't very accomplished yet. Here's to that glint of madness in the corner of your, the tiniest hint of the passion that's raging in your soul over doing what you love. Here's to the laugh with which you shrug off the notion of disapproval. You spend every day in blissful enjoyment of what you do - what could one frown do to drag you down?

Here's to the people who will try to convince you out of your goals before you've even given them a try. Here's to the people who spout your 3,720 to 1 odds out in C3P0-like fashion even though you told them never to tell you. Here's to the people who decide to oppose you. Here's to proving them oh so wrong.

Here's to the moments you spend battling imposter syndrome. Here's to the moments you spend fighting your own doubts so that you can keep moving forward. Here's to the frustrations, to the pain, to the blood, sweat, and tears. Here's to the strain it takes to get the job done. Here's to falling short of your goal. Here's to all the other times you didn't.

Here's to the struggle that makes life worthwhile. Here's to the joy of waking up and knowing you can continue doing what you love. Here's to overcoming the pain, to making it to the finish line. Here's to all of the bad that makes the good so much better. Here's to all of the dreams you never knew you had until you found them. Here's to the reasons you stay motivated, the things that keep you searching, working, going. Here's to finding a struggle to which you are glad to devote yourself.

Here's to being happy with what you've found. Cheers to a lifetime of it.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
