love to eat. All this means is that my favorite times of the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner. But there is one meal period that stands above all else: brunch.

Only available on the weekends, and sometimes only on Sundays, it teases me all week with it's unique food combos and bottomless booze offerings. It's true, I look forward to brunch all week, and even though it marks the end of the weekend, at least it's going out with a bang.

Here are six reasons why brunch is the best meal ever:

1. Menus that don't follow the rules.

Gator bites, eggs benedict, candied bacon, burgers with eggs, chicken and waffles...these are a few of my favorite things.

But seriously, anything goes at brunch. Do you want lunch, breakfast, something in between? You can have whatever you want! There are no rules when it comes to brunching. Let your taste buds soar and satisfy your palate with unusual combinations you can't get before 10:00 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m.

2. You like feeling the bubbles.

Champagne gets you more drunk in a shorter amount of time then most liquor. Nothing fights the onsetting Monday blues like those little bubbles. Try the classic mimosa, or maybe you get creative with fruit juices like pineapple. There are plenty of brunch places that offer their own mimosa bar and you can get a little creative with the fruit and juice combinations.

3. Sunday is the day everyone's available.

Between working long hours, working out and meeting other social demands of the week it's important to soak up every single second of the weekend. For me and my friends, Sunday afternoon is one of the only times where we're all free and we always make the most of our time together.

4. Brunch is the most cost effective meal of the week.

$20 for food and unlimited booze. Yes, please.

One time my friends and I went to a bottomless tapas and mimosa brunch restaurant. We did the math, between all of us, we ate and drank more than $800 for only $40 each. #Winning.

5. You have the entire day to recover from brunch.

Even if you accidentally had too many bubbles, or just need to nap off the food coma you'll probably be in, brunch is the ideal meal because it ends early. You have the entire day to recover and you wake up Monday feeling refreshed.

6. Bottomless brunch means bottomless memories.

Nothing brings me and my friends closer than sharing great conversation over of a mimosa (or five) and food covered in eggs and various breakfast meats. It's the best, and you'll never convince me otherwise.

So next time you're bored on a Sunday remember these six facts and call yourself an Uber and head to brunch. You won't regret it.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
