Sir,
First things first, who the hell do you think you are? There is nothing that gives you the right to do what you have done. There is no excuse, there is no rhyme, or reason. There is loss, endless amounts of loss and it’s because you thought what you did was validated by something. There is no validation for a mass shooting. A night meant to be worry free turned into the exact opposite in a matter of seconds.
Weeks can pass, months can pass, but no amount of time can heal the tragedy that you have caused. Some people won’t see another Christmas. Some children will grow up without parents. Some parents have lost children. Some people will live every day scared of the next, because you have shown them what it means to be truly fearful of something, and you, you escaped the aftermath. You killed yourself because you didn’t want to see the horrifying things that you caused.
No one is sorry for you. No one feels for the fact that you killed yourself after injuring hundreds and killing +60 people. 10 rifles. Are you kidding me? You have to plan 10 rifles. You have to plan to target a crowd of 22,000 people, all gathered for a freaking festival. You planned this tragedy. You planned to kill innocent people. So no, no one is sorry that you were hurting because now, we are hurting, and it is because of you that we are hurting.
It is people like you that I pray for. People that think that violence done to others will make you feel better about yourself. You are selfish to hurt others because you were hurting. You are a disgrace to America.
I woke up to a Facebook feed of prayers. I woke up to yet another tragedy in this country and I’m so sick of people saying that guns are the problem. It is the human that pulls the trigger. It was you that pulled the trigger. The gun powder is on your cold hands. You have made American history. You are the one who committed the largest mass shooting in American History. You were sick. You are sick. You are a terrorist in every sense of the word and nothing can change what has occurred on Route 91.
I can speak for many when I say that there is a tremendous amount of anger and sadness for what has happened in Las Vegas. You are held fully accountable for everything surrounding this tragedy.
So no, I won't say that I hope you rest easy, that would be a lie. You don't deserve those words.
Truthfully,
A Girl Who Wishes People Would Consider Consequences Before Their Actions.
(My heart goes out to everyone effected by this man's decision. Prayers to you all.)
