You know the quote that says "it's about who you miss at 2 in the afternoon when you're busy, not at 2 in the morning when you're lonely"? It's a rarity to find someone like that anymore, more than likely you're used to finding someone who promises to give you the moon but never delivers. You're probably tired of feeling like you're settling. You're tired of late night texts when you can't get a reply in the middle of the day. Hear me when I say that you do not deserve that. You deserve someone who can't get you off their mind long enough to want to ignore you. And even if he does, he should make you feel so secure in your relationship, so loved and so confident that you don't care if he texts you at all because you know that you have nothing to worry about. No one should make you feel like you aren't an important part of their life - together one month, one year or ten years. You are more than a placeholder in their life that they only listen to when it's convenient. You are more than a warm body lying in the bed beside them. You are more because God made you more. He gave you a mind and a voice and a heart of gold and you need someone in your life who sees that. He should think of you because he sees how important you are. He should think of you because he knows you're smart and your opinion matters. He should think of you because he wants you to be a part of his life and his decisions. He should think of you and take you into consideration because anyone who knows you knows that you're worth at least that much.

Don't settle for someone who makes you feel inferior or doesn't even try to make you a priority. "She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her," says Proverbs 3:15. Find a man that honors that; a man who can't get you out of his head and doesn't want to. Find a man that asks you questions, values your opinion and time, and goes out of his way to make you a part of their life. You deserve to be thought about.
