I've spent the past year of my life planning everything out. I knew exactly what college I was going to, what I was going to major in, what friend group I was going to have, and everything in between. Yet, none of that is going to happen like I planned it to and honestly, that's okay.
I had my whole life planned out of what was going to happen and when. Now, none of it is happening like I planned and I got really disappointed because of it. I will not be attending the college I wanted to (for now), I will have to find another friend group, and I will have to make do with what life throws at.
The truth is, we never really know what is going to happen next. Our lives are big question marks and who are we to say what happens next? Sure we can hope and dream, but in the long run, we just have to roll with the punches of life.
Even if something you wanted to do doesn't happen right now, that doesn't mean it never will. You have to work hard and do your best with what you've got. If we plan our life out, we're really just asking for disappointment, but if we live day by day and work toward some our goals it'll be a much a much better depending on how you manage things.
Just because you don't achieve something the first time never means that you should just quit. If something is important to you, go for it! Never let anyone think you can't do something because, with hard work and determination, you can.
