The world as we know it has forever changed.

Because of Harry Styles.

On Friday, May 6, Styles posted the following photo to Instagram, simply captioned, "Whoops. #Littleprincesstrust":

Naturally, social media responded as if it were World War III. Twitter transformed into a battleground. And to say that shots (or Tweets) were fired would be an understatement as #OhNoHarrysHair quickly became the subject of six trending topics on the site.

Official photos of the former boy band member rocking his new 'do have yet to be released.

But this isn't just any haircut. Duh.

Styles didn't just chop off nine inches of his luscious, perfectly perfect curls for the hell of it. Instead, he donated those long locks to Little Princess Trust, a cancer charity that provides wigs to kids suffering from hair loss.

According to a 2013 City of Hope article, around 100,000 children under the age of 15 die from cancer every year.

Serious issues aside, whether you're mourning the end of this glorious era or relieved that his hair is (finally) shorter than yours, I think we can all agree that Harry Styles is one of the most beautiful people, inside and out.

Here are our favorite "Harry Styles hairstyles" moments:

1. The windswept look

Blowout and conditioning goals.

2. Styled Styles

3. #Flawless

"The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed..."

4. Easy. Breezy. Beautiful.

5. Untamed and Uncut

Wild and free in its natural habitat. Truly majestic.

6. The wet mop...

7. ...And the feather duster

A man of many Styles.

8. ASDFJKL

I mean, come on. Who could ever forget bandana Harry?

9. Styling and Slings

The hair product makes up for whatever fiasco happened here.

10. The dodgeball 'do

Patches O'Houlihan would be so proud.

11. #GoneButNeverForgotten

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
