We have officially spent 1 year together as a couple. We have made it 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days, 525,6000 minutes, and 4 seasons. And each day I love you more and more.

I could never imagine having you today. You were not the type of guy I ever saw myself dating. You were sweet, friendly, funny, outgoing, loving, and I thought you were out of my league. I remember when I first saw you. Our eyes meet in the kitchen. It was my second day training but we kept our distance. We ended up getting each other’s number that same weekend and hung out a week later. You did not kiss me or really hug me, which I thought was sweet. You told me you wanted to take your time. That was when everything started to fall into place. And here we are one year later…

You and I moved “fast”. I personally do not think we did but that is how we are seen. We moved in together around our 2-month anniversary. We phased out of the cupcake phase and then we got a puppy together. You and I took two huge relationship steps very early in our relationship, which is probably why we worked out. I got to see how you lived and how to raise a living creature. It was incredible how we both lived the same way. We both raised our puppy together the same way too. That brought us closer together.

We took a new step and signed a lease together around our 7-month anniversary. Just you and me. That is when it truly hit me that you and I were absolutely perfect for one another. I ended up learning that you hate doing laundry and dishes but that you love to cook, and you’re a great one at that. I learned what type of video games you play and what you watch before you go to bed. I have noticed when you take a shower and how you do your hair a certain way.

I am excited for our future. I look forward to watching you brush your teeth everyday. I look forward to eating thousands of dinner with you. I cannot wait to watch you get a career job and build your business. I look forward to waking up everyday next to you and falling asleep in your arms every night. I look forward to coming home and hearing about your day and watching movies with you. I cannot wait to walk down the aisle and tell you I do and express my love to you. I cannot wait for the day that we begin our lives together forever.

I hope you know that I love you. You are the first guy I have ever been around that has seen the real me. I am so comfortable with you and have let all my guards down. I have loved you from the moment we met, and have ever since. Nothing will ever break that. You are the most amazing human being to ever exist and I am beyond grateful to call you my boyfriend, best friend, and love of my life. Here is to many more adventures, goober.
