Gone are the days of going door-to-door for candy dressed up as sparkly princesses and bed sheet ghosts. College is a fright of its own, and dressing up for Halloween is a whole new monster. Especially when Halloween is on aMonday, and you still have to go to class. Oooh, scary!
1. All of the good Halloween parties got moved to the weekend before Halloween, which means you stayed up getting spooky on a Sunday night, when you would usually be sipping tea and cramming all your homework in before midnight.
It might be the scariest decision you've made all semester.
2. You spent all weekend surrounded by girls in lingerie and animal ears or police badges like:
But you do you, ladies.
3. You've lost count of how many times you heard people quote Mean Girls.
But that's ok because it has truly become a spook-tacular holiday classic.
4. You tried to create a costume that fits your personality...
You know, who you truly are on the inside.
5. ...But nobody really understands.
Better luck next year, I guess.
6. Getting to class on a week day Halloween is pretty scary, and you can spot your hungover classmates from a mile away.
Sorry bud, no costume is gonna hide that one.
7. There's the person who shows up to class dressed up like:
Typically a freshman.
8. There's the person who hates on all the spooky fun:
Dude, lighten up.
9. Then there's the professor who comes in clutch with bonus points for the people who dressed up for class.
"Ok, five bonus points to anyone who showed up in a costume today!" *Regrets not having more Halloween spirit*
10. After a long day of classes, you and all your friends gear up for one las night of frightful fun.
Getting to that early Tuesday class is the scariest part of all.
College can be pretty creepy on its own, but Halloween is one of the most freakishly fun parts about it. Get out there and enjoy all of the spookiness, but stay safe while you're having fun! Happy Halloween!
