3 Places To Draw Inspo For Halloween Couple's Costumes If You Finally Have That Spooky Someone To Celebrate With

As the air gets chillier and the leaves become browner and older, it is now clear that summer is over and fall is here. That's right, it's finally October! With that being said, Halloween is just around the corner. If you're like me and this time around you finally have that special someone to celebrate it with, here are a few costume ideas to spice up your Halloween night.

1. Disney

If you're looking for something more traditional, it never hurts to go the Disney route. Beauty and Beast, Woody and Buzz Lightyear, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, or even Jack and Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." I've never seen the movie before, but that doesn't make it any less cute than it is. You don't even have to go old-school Disney, you can dress up as the newer-generation films. Flynn and Rapunzel from "Tangled," Anna and Elsa from "Frozen," Nick and Judy from "Zootopia," and that's just a few starters for ya. With the amount of Disney movies that are out there, you are bound to find an idea.

2. Your favorite TV shows and movies

Now onto what I believe to be the best category of all, TV shows and movies. There's no better feeling than dressing up as characters from you and your significant other's favorite shows and/or movie. For example, Steve and Dustin from "Stranger Things." (What, you thought I was gonna say Robin?) Jon Snow and Daenerys from "Game of Thrones," Amy and Sheldon from "The Big Bang Theory," and who could ever forget Jim and Pam from "The Office"? Trust me, people will eat that up.

3. Go geek

From comic books to video games, the world is your oyster. Batman and Robin, or Alfred if you wanna spice things up. Mario and Peach, Iron Man and Captain America, Link and Zelda. If you're both the geeks you claim you are, I'm sure you'll think of something.

Honestly, just have fun with it. Besides, you shouldn't be worrying about what other people will be thinking of your costume. You should be worrying about making your partner's night, or else there won't be a monster under your bed, you'll be sleeping next to one instead.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
