Roommates are the best friends you have to, or get to (if you're lucky, like me), live with and see every day for about 4 months at a time.
If you have a good one, you better hold on to him or her and keep them close so no one can take them away from you. And if you don't have a good one, get one. Sometimes you just want to jam out in your room and blast music. Sometimes you just want to lay there and chill with some music playing in the background. All of the time it makes it a lot better if the other person, or people, enjoy, or at least tolerate your music.

5. They are down for whatever, whenever.
Whether it be a spontaneous weekend trip or ordering pizza 4 times in one week, everything is a lot easier with your roommate's support.
6. They understand personal space.
Nothing is worse than living with a person who has all of their belongings spread out all over the room and has no respect for your personal space. There is a difference between being messy and being rude.
7. You should be able to tell them anything.
Your roommate is usually going to be the first person you see when you wake up in the morning, and you're probably going to be around them a lot during the day, too. This is the
