Many of you have older siblings, and odds are a good number of you have an older brother. My brother may have been annoying but he was always there for me. So here are some things that I can be grateful for having an older brother.
1. He taught me to play video games
Granted I still stink, and when we used to play two player for Halo, I got yelled at a lot for dying. When we were little we used to play NHL on the GameCube. Still now one of the biggest things that we talk about are the new games coming out for the switch.
2. Driving me around
Even though I know you were mostly forced to by mom and dad. Thanks anyway. Also for letting me use your car when I wanted to go to friends houses. Even now when I cover shifts at other stores, you're still willing to drive me.
3. For the Hockey trips that we got to go on
This one kind of is mom's doing too but I remember getting to miss school to go on the trips your team did. It was always a lot of fun. I even remember finding a Wii in Wisconsin and hearing/seeing a lot of fights both in stands and on ice. Thank you.
4. For calling me to check on how I am
You send me pictures of the dogs when I am missing them. Whenever I call mom upset you call me right after and check how I am doing. Thank you for that.
5. Buying me food
Thank you for buying me food when you stop somewhere. Even when you make me go get it you still pay.
6. For watching the Hawks Game with me
Thank you for letting me watch the games with you in your room. This helped me figure out what I wanted to major in and my dream career. Also, I enjoyed getting $20 from you to run to Walgreens and get snacks between the first and second period.
7. Tormenting me
Mostly I am thankful for this because when people ask me why I am a nervous wreck I get to blame you. Your fault. Entirely. So thanks for traumatizing me.
Thank you for being a big brother. I know tormenting me is part of the job but when I come for weekends that does not mean you get to be extra annoying since I will not see you for a while. I love you Chris your a good big brother under the many many layers of evil.
