1.You have no idea how much I’m going to miss you

You may think I’m being dramatic writing this, but it is the end of an era.

2. Things will never be the same

You just graduated and now you are getting married. You are a graduate and will soon be a wife. And I will be here. A student and alone.

3. I actually liked sharing a room with you

I know I act all excited to finally (for the first time in my life) have my own room, but I have loved sharing one with you. I’m going to miss you a lot, and I seriously don’t know what to do with all this space.

4. I am so glad I got to spend my first year and a half of college with you

I honestly don’t know what I would have done (or where I would have lived) without you.

5.You are one of the things that make Aggieland Aggieland

It will be weird being here without you. There are so many things I’m going to miss without you here. Like sharing a room with you, our Tuesday/Thursday Fazoli’s nights, and our late night deep conversations (when we really should have gone to bed earlier).

I’m going to miss sitting in silence in the morning while we drink coffee ( I mean I can still do that but it won’t be the same), and our low-budget grocery runs. I guess you get to do that with your husband now.

6. I'm really going to miss having you around 24/7 to tell me I’m being stupid

Who else is going to be completely real with me?

7. We are all grown up

With you getting married, I can’t help but think about the fact that we really are growing up. (You might be grown, but I’m still growing). It seems like yesterday that we were running around our backyard, communicating with each other on walkie-talkies, and writing in our spy journals.

These days, it’s all graduation ceremonies, wedding planning, and job hunting. Our crazy childhood is long gone, and our “wild college days” may be coming to an end, but you are starting a new chapter of your life and I have a feeling it will be just as wild and crazy and fun.

8. I am going to miss you so much

I am going to miss you so much, but I am so excited for you to get to start a whole new family and a whole new life.

9. I love you!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
