The week has finally come, the week to leave behind the first half of the school year. Time to move on to a new year, forget the classes you've been dreading all semester and head home for some much-needed relaxation.

However, as the end of the semester comes, it's time to say goodbye. Whether friends be going abroad, or new friends coming back, next semester will be different. In my case, the original suitemates of my suite called "the beehive" will be changing. So as these final days approach us, here is ANOTHER open letter to the beehive as the semester ends.

Dear beehive,

My have we had an interesting semester. We've had our long weekends, or short weekends, our bad and good. It's been wild. We've cried, we've kicked and scream, and we've had our laughs for sure. I know next semester we will be losing a roommate, and it won't exactly be the same, but I'm happy for the semester we've had. I'll certainly miss you all over break.

I'll miss hearing about everyone's days and the tales that occur. I'll miss the snapchats we send to each other when we see someone awkward from one of our wild adventures, or the snaps we send to each other when someone takes the elevator to the third floor. I'll miss our times watching tv shows together and commenting on them like old ladies. I'll miss heartfelt talks on the floor.

I'll miss the random videos and stuff in my room put there by you silly rascals. I'll miss admiring everyone's different outfits because we all have different styles in the hive. I'll even miss trying to understand how we go through toilet paper so fast.

Next semester will be different for sure. Who knows what kind of changes will happen as winter break comes and goes. Or how the dynamic will be like with a new roommate, even though our new roommate coming in is amazing! It will just simply be different is all, and it will be different without the original squad.

I'll miss the bless yous coming from a different room when I sneeze, or the texts asking if someone was alive from the wild night we had before. I'll miss eating on the floor, or sleeping on the floor and you guys coming back and laughing at me as I curled up in the middle of the floor.

Our hoco adventures or food adventures, our singing to songs, our playing strange songs like Miley Cyrus, those will be weird not happening throughout my winter break days. I'm going to miss you all so much over winter break, but I can't wait to see what next semester holds for us.

Thanks for a great semester beehive!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
