As my college career is coming to a close, I've been reflecting on everything I went through the last three years. There have been ups and downs. Along the way, I've learned more about myself and others than ever before. I remember being so excited for college Freshman year, and sometime along the way I began wishing for it to be over. Now, I wish I had a little more time. I finally learned what I want in life, and the type of people I want around me. I've found wonderful friends and communities (like the Odyssey) that I never imagined would influence me the way I have. To think that this coming December, I will be walking across the stage, accepting my diploma, and marking the end of my college career at USF. Though I'm excited for a new adventure, I'm still scared of what the future might bring. I've spent all summer applying to medical school; yet, I have no idea where I might end up. I'm going to move to a different town, or even a different state all together. However, my time in college has taught me that though change is scary, and comes with many many obstacles, it always ends up okay in the end. Even though a part of me wishes I could stay longer, the other half is ready to soar!
Let's make this last semester the best one yet!
