Coming back home can be great. You get to see your friends, family, and basically sit around celebrating the fact that you do not have to get up every morning and listen to hours of lectures... but, with Winter Break also comes these problems.
1. Coming home and wanting to catch on sleep and Netflix.
Instead of that, being told that binge watching Netflix isn't "okay" and it's "sad" and that you "need to get out of bed today."
2. Seeing people from high school that you thought you missed.
But, then you realized you were only friends because you were stuck together for five days a week... sorry people.
3. Seeing the people you missed the most.
When I first got home and hung out with my best friend it was immediately like old times and was the best feeling ever
4. Forced Q&A with family.
Trust me, when I find out and tell my mom, I’m sure she will alert the whole family.
5. Coming back home and realizing how much coffee you really drank at school...
The first step is admitting you have a problem...
6. Real Food! Everyone say it with me: NO MORE RAMEN!
Your roommates might not believe you're Queen B... but honestly, they're just jealous.8. Everyone might not identify with this issue... but having to get a job when you get back home.
Do my parents think I came home to work during winter break... really?
9. 2-PLY TOILET PAPER!
You can pretend you can't relate to this... but honestly, this is one of the best things about being home. Real toilet paper! That doesn't break off every five seconds...
