If you're like me, there's nowhere you'd rather be than at a concert. Sure, sometimes buying the tickets can be stressful, waiting for that day of the show will test your patience, and you may have to drag someone to go with you who really doesn't want to go, but once the day comes around, you're ready to lose yourself in the music of one of your favorite artists.
We all know that concerts include some fun and not so fun moments, but when all is said and done, they can turn out to be some of the best memories that you'll ever have. So, please enjoy the ups and downs of going to a gig as told by your favorite characters from Pawnee, Indiana.
1. After waiting several days/weeks/months, the day of the concert is finally here
2. When you get to the show early enough to get to the front
3. When you get there too late, so you don't have the best view
4. When you visit the merchandise stand and you want to buy all of it
5. When you're watching the support act and you're actually enjoying it
6. When you're watching the not so great support act
7. When the headlining act finally comes on and you can't believe it's really them
8. When you see people standing motionless filming the entire concert with their phones
9. When you're unwillingly in the middle of a mosh pit
10. When you're having fun, moving around and everyone else around you is pretty stiff
11. When you or someone near you had a little too much to drink
12. When you're having a great time, dancing the night away
13. When someone spills their drinks on you
14. When the venue security's got your back
15. When you're an adult and you haven't been to a concert since you were a teenager
16. Singing all the lyrics, belting your heart out with the crowd
17. When you're having the time of your life and you just don't want it to end
18. When you get a set list, guitar pick, drumstick, etc., from the band or a roadie when the show ends
19. When a great concert finally ends and you realize that post-concert depression is starting to kick in
