Ah, college, the best four years of your life. Sure, that could very well be true but the transition from summer into school work is far from the best. The whole packing/unpacking situation is no fun. You spend hours on Pinterest figuring out how you’re going to decorate your room and organize your life but seriously, we all know that one week into the semester the organization you had is going to go down the drain. You’re back to writing papers and studying, really though just counting down the days until whatever break is coming up next. Despite all the work, however, college really is fun. Don’t believe me? Keep reading to see the phases of going back to college as told by your favorite "Gossip Girl" characters.

1. When you're still in denial that summer is over.

Sleeping in, beach days, home-cooked meals... it's all going away.

2. But then you realize that you get to move away from certain people.

Bye people from high school and annoying co-workers.

3. When you start packing for move-in day and realize you own nothing.

Nothing a Target run can't fix.

4. But then you end up spending more money than your college tuition.

I needed all of it.

5. When you actually move in and notice your room looks nothing like what you saved on Pinterest.

Oops... oh well.

6. And then you realize that you are actually going to have to start writing papers again.

Just put on your brave face and remember that summer will come again soon enough.

7. You forgot how many distractions there are.

@Netflix.

8. When you have absolutely no idea what's going on in class.

Yeah... I'm totally awake right now.

9. When you completely destroyed your sleep schedule.

3 whole days, 4 hours of sleep... healthy!

10. But no matter what happens, you know that college is the best.

3 words, eight letters, I love you.

Good luck in school! xoxo ~ Gossip Girl

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
