Going back to school after a long break can be a mixed bag of emotions for many. There's the joy of going back to school, seeing your friends and enjoying the freedoms that come with living on your own. But, with the joys come the struggles: leaving behind family and friends at home and having to start classes, tests, and papers again. Here's what going back to school may feel like, as told by "Gossip Girl."
Talking to your friends about how excited you are to see them again
But then realizing you only have a few more nights left in your comfy bed
Buying new clothes for the semester
Realizing you have to also buy/rent all of your textbooks and looking at your bank account like
Savoring your last real meal at home
Having to pack but knowing everything you want to bring won't fit
Saying goodbye to your family and friends at home
Waiting at the airport/train station/bus stop and hoping there are no delays
That feeling you get when you're finally back on campus
Finally seeing your friends again and recapping your breaks
But then seeing that one person that you didn't want to see
Realizing that you actually have to start going to class and doing work soon, oh, and did I mention the Wi-Fi is terrible?
And finally, realizing you have to start showering with shoes again
