Sometimes you impact people who you don’t know. It could be by just being nice, or posting a photo with a heartfelt caption, or asking someone if you can pray for them. Nevertheless, we all have the power to inspire and speak words into people’s lives. Here are the people whom I’ve never met, but have had the biggest impact on me and my faith:

1. Car1y Lynn

I think I found her on Twitter as a suggestion or someone RT'd something of hers that I liked, but whatever the case, this Godly girl is on FIRE for Him. Through her inspiring texts that just know what to say, and her amazing, relatable captions, I have been inspired to dig into my Bible more and drop my insecurities at the door of Christ’s home.

Carly is an adorable human being who manages to have an aesthetically pleasing Instagram filled with God’s Words and Carly’s heart. If I could choose to have an older sister or mentor in my life, I would want her to be it.

2. Jordan Lee Dooley

So technically, I have met her. My best friend and I were in a coffee shop and saw her and got the chance to talk to her for about an hour. She was so genuine and kind in person and reflected who she was on her blog.

I have followed Jordan for a few years now and love who she has become and how far she has grown. She has changed the way I do my Bible Studies, and think about “Brokeness.” She has a lot of knowledge up her sleeve and a heart that encompasses Christ. He is doing great things with her, her husband, and everyone else who reads her blog posts.

3. Godly Relationships

This one, I found on Twitter and followed for all the relatable tweets she had on Godly Relationships. Now, I primarily keep up with her on Instagram where she posts cute pictures with absolutely heart-wrenching relatable captions that speak to you.

She gives advice, has amazing music suggestions, and is just a genuine person. She’s definitely given me a different view on Godly Relationships. Something we all need to look at in this day and age.

4. Lysa TerKeurst

I first learned about her when Uninvited came out and was on sale at Barnes and Noble. I admit, I bought the book cause the cover was pretty. However, the words on the inside were much more beautiful. Lysa has been blessed with writing words that speak to your soul and make you think of things, you would have never thought of.

Each time I turned the page in Uninvited I would either highlight it like crazy, write a note, or devour my Bible in the scripture she provided. She has many stories to tell that we can all relate to. Her book Made to Crave is also amazing and has impacted me and my everyday habits. Someday I would love to meet and just have coffee with this woman.

5. Beth Moore

My small group started a Bible Study using one of her guides and videos and I fell in love with all the knowledge she had to give. Not only does she look amazing for her age, she is hilarious and full of the Holy Spirit.

I have never flipped back and forth in my Bible so much and written so many things down in my journal than when I was listening to one of her videos. God is working wonders through her.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
