We all know what a trip to Sephora is like... You walk in and in front of you is over 50,000 makeup products for you to choose from. You either spend two hours picking what you want, or give up and leave empty handed. So, I've made it easier for you. Here is exactly what you should buy next time you go to Sephora.

1. Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate ($55)

This is by far the best foundation I have ever used- and there have been a lot. It’s the only one I’ve found that lasts all day and covers everything.

2. Beauty Blender ($20)

No expensive brushes needed- save your money. Use for foundation, concealer, and crème contour application all you need is a beauty blender.

3. Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner ($22)

This is the only liquid eyeliner I will ever use, especially to make a wing. There is no product with an easier application. I have four of these in my dorm room right now just in case they discontinue….

4. Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer ($19-75)

The best primer if you want your makeup to stay all day- especially in humidity. I recommend the mini size so you’re not dropping $75 on a primer.

5. Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder ($38)

Again, the best way to ensure your makeup stays all day. I don’t love the feeling of powder foundation on top of a full coverage liquid foundation; it just feels so heavy. This is a great alternative.

6. Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($29)

This is an old favorite of mine. The color works with any skin tone. It goes on so smoothly and even comes with a decent brush.

7. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray ($32)

As you can already tell, I’m a big fan of anything that keeps my makeup on all day. Unlike other setting sprays, it doesn’t mix with the powder or make your face feel sticky. Also, my #1 makeup tip: Spray your eyeshadow brush with this to make the shadow more pigmented.

8. Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara ($32)

My favorite mascara by far. It gives incredible volume and is great for application on natural lashes as well as on top of fake lashes. It’s definitely worth the price.

There you have it! Happy shopping!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
