Two things break a girl more than anything, number one being when a girl's father is absent.This can cause her to view men differently. Since there is no said example to what a "good" man looks like, she often times goes for the bad boy type. But, a girl like that also has a brick fall sealed around her heart with no easy entry. Number two when a girl has been heartbroken repeatedly and never had a true, happy and loving relationship. If the girl has been through both one and two, then baby she's the perfect storm.

When a girl has had her heart broken repeatedly, she becomes numb to the pain that is a break-up. When a guy even tries to approach her, she is like a stray cat. She knows that nothing good will come out of it, so why show any sense of happiness? Because happiness leads to let downs in her life.

Thoughts consume a girl with a constant break in her heart. She looks at her phone and sees his name but she knows soon that name will not appear on her phone. She thinks to herself, "this will end soon", more times a day than not. She also believes good things don't come her way, especially when it comes to guys.

She dreams of a guy who will one day understand her fears and doubts. A guy who will calm her when she is having anxiety about their relationship or when he seems to be too good to her. Because a girl with a continuously broken heart is used to let downs. She waits for any day to hear, "it's not you, it's me." She has heard that so much that she wants to believe it is her.

She prepares herself to be all alone again. When all she dreams about is having one guy who proves that they are not all the same. (As clique as it might be, that's her favorite saying!) She wants what her friends have, to live care-free and be in their mature, adult relationships.

If you are lucky enough to find a girl who has been let down over and over, do not give up on her! She is fragile and she has caution tape all around that big heart of hers. But, I promise you, she will love you to the end of this world and has more to offer than any other girl you have ever been with.
