Being a girl can be fun. We have beautiful hair, cute outfits; our world is different from guys. However, being a girl also has it's downfalls, with one of them being periods.

Periods SUCK. They are the monster under our beds that like to come out and torture us. They are unbearable and not to mention gross.

As a girl who gets her period, I am speaking among other girls as well to ask everyone especially guys to please be patient with us when we are on our periods. We are not pissed at you on purpose; we are just in a bad mood.

I am not saying that periods give girls a reasons to do inappropriate actions such as cheating on their significant others, go day drinking until you puke your brains out, and start yelling and cursing at your boyfriends. No, that is not right.

What I am saying is that when we are on our periods, let us be cranky and be in a bad mood. Also let us vent to you how annoying and painful they can be, because cramps suck.

When you are on your period, it could honestly feel like a bowling ball hitting your back, and it sucks. It can get hard to sleep and can be very inconvenient when trying to go about your day, especially when you're trying to do something fun. Changing a tampon or pad at a concert is not fun and worrying if it leaked through our pants is frustrating.

So please guys, when we are on our periods, try and be more understanding which may of you actually do a great job doing. Even support us if we need anything and such. Lastly again, we apologize for any bad moods and vibes given your way, it is the period talking.

And girls, do your best to not let a period ruin your day, even though it is hard. And remember to thank you man for being patient with you. Lastly ladies, you're not alone when it comes to periods; all girls get them and they eventaully stop.
