It comes to an end.

To The Girl Who Feels Alone

I know you. I know how you feel. I know what it feels like to feel empty and broken and like nobody is there for you. It feels like the sun will never peak through the clouds; it feels like being the only person that nobody sees. You feel as though no matter how loud you scream or how many tears you shed, you won't be noticed. You think that if you buy the newest makeup or buy designer clothes that maybe, just maybe, one person will pay attention to you. You feel like life has no purpose if you can't "live" like the people who get famous for no reason. All these things, they are very valid, but let me remind you of one little thing, there is only one you.

You were put on this earth for some reason. You may not now it now or tomorrow or even next year, but you have a purpose. You have meaning. Your days may seem like they take forever and you just want to give up, but you can't. Every day there are people going through the exact same thing as you are. You know the girl who gets 500 likes on her Instagram posts, she doesn't speak to her parents anymore works three jobs to get through life. You know the reality stars with tv shows, they feel alone. They don't know who their real friends are- are they there for the money and fame or for the pitfalls and memories? You aren't alone. There are hundreds of people out there who feel the same way you do.

One day, your sun will peak through the clouds and you will finally see the beauty of the sunset you have always wished to see first hand. You will feel the love and support of the people around you. You will make a difference somehow, someway. You will change the world for somebody, but until then keep your head held high. Work towards your goals. If you can't see the bigger picture that's okay, treat it like a paint by numbers. If you work at it a little at a time, step by step, one day, you will be able to see the masterpiece. You.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
