I know I'm not the only one who's excited for the Gilmore Girls reboot. The countdown until November has officially begun. So start stocking up on you coffee and junk food for that binge watch night you know you'll have. Why is Gilmore Girls such a phenomenon? Because Lorelai is everything I aspire to be, and mostly because it's so relatable. This show has basically summed up my entire college career, and it was made in the early 2000's. (Imagine how relatable the reboot is going to be!!!)
Those deep conversations with your friends about dropping out of college always end up like this.
When your college friends have to describe what you're like at school.
Personally I think it's the other way around.
That rare occasion when you get a package in the mail from home.
Listening to your class discussion like:
When you come home for the first time all year and your mother over does it with the "Welcome Home" dinner.
Having your parents come up to visit only to find that they're decked out in your college gear.
Coming home for the holidays, and your entire family asks how you feel about college so far.
Joking about dropping out only to have someone say something like this:
Staying up until 3am doing homework, and severely regretting it in the morning.
Dieting with your friends like:
With dieting, comes exercise...sort of.
When someone asks you how you are after you take a huge test.
When your friend tries to make plans for the weekend during your 8am class.
Those nights you just stay in with your friends.
