So, I don't know about you, but college has made it very easy to lose track of my money and now that it's Christmas, I was struggling a bit to find things for my best friends for Christmas, but I've come up with some pretty good ideas that won't break the bank.

1. Painted Wine Glass or Flask

If you've got a friend who's 21, this is always a great gift for her. The wine glasses are also a good idea for your mom or even grandma if you know they enjoy a glass, now and then.

2. Specialized Canvas

Even if you take ideas from Pinterest and just recreate it with your best friend's favorite colors, she'll love that you took the time to make something for her.

3. Framed Picture

If you buy a wooden one and paint it, make your own, or just find a cute frame and print out a picture--or a few--I'm sure she'll love it and the smile that the memory will bring her is priceless.

4. Snacks

If your best friend hasn't told you what her favorite food is, can you truly call yourself her best friend? So get her some of her favorite snacks and I'm sure she'll appreciate it--and share, hopefully!

5. Coloring Book

And some crayons and colored pencils would be great as well! It's a great, easy way for her to de-stress and have a little fun. If it's a kid's coloring book, that can still be fun because it'll make her laugh and smile while she's coloring. Funny ones or curse word ones are the bomb, though.

6. Bath Bomb

If your best friend loves a good bath, bath bombs are a great gift! You can make them yourself or you can buy them pretty cheap in some stores now.

7. Journal

You can find some pretty cheap, hard-cover, spiral journals at Target. Some of them even have cute quotes on them!

8. Slime

This is another gift that you can either make yourself or just buy for pretty cheap. It's fun and satisfying!

9. Face Masks

Most of the time, you can get two or three for five dollars at Walmart, meaning you can get like six or nine for less than 20 bucks and you guys can make a spa night of it!

10. Candle

All girls love candles. That's pretty much a fact. If they're cute and smell good, that's even better.

11. Cup

Every girl loves a cup with a cute print on it. If it has something to do with an inside joke, that's even better!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
