The time is here for everyone to head out to Heritage Grove and participate in Gamma Phi Beta's annual Spring philanthropy, G Phi Joe.
April 18th from 2-5 PM, the girls of Gamma Phi Beta will be coaching fraternities and sororities while they all fight for the title of G Phi Joe champions (in their respective divisions). They will be participating in army themed activities such as tire obstacle courses, sac race, water challenges, wheelbarrow race, and potentially a s'mores eating contest.
All of the proceeds from this event will benefit one of GPhi's philanthropies, Girls on the Run of the Big Bend. This program is dedicated to engaging young girls in fitness, team building, and self esteem raising activities to help enrich their lives. This is a direct objective of Gamma Phi Beta's mission to be women building strong girls.
Often times, when we participate in events or donate to philanthropies we know where the money is going but have limited involvement after that. Girls on the Run of the Big Bend will be attending G Phi Joe and interacting with all the participants to help you get a great understanding of the impact you are making within your community!
Teams can sign up in groups of 6 with a registration fee of $50 per team. All teams need to turn in a roster and registration fee by April 15th to Gracie Smith, who can also be contacted with further questions at (850) 322-8366.
