When you go to a BIG 10 school, Saturdays are game day. But, aside from the football game, the second most important thing is your outfit! Here are some tailgating outfit ideas to help you style your next tailgating outfit:

1. A Cheerleading Outfit

Such a classic game day outfit. Almost every girl will wear the full cheer outfit or at least one of the pieces separately. It is an easy and super cute outfit for any warm game!

2. Jackets/Flannels

Whether it's a bomber jacket or a really cool denim jacket, it is a great add-on to any game day outfit. It can be the focal point of the outfit or just something cute to keep you warm. Flannels are also super fun to work with because you can wear them normally or around your waist if it gets warm.

3. Jersey

A jersey dress is an adorable and super easy outfit to put together. Just throw it on with some Nittany Lion ears and cute socks and you have yourself the perfect outfit!

4. Sweatpants

Once the colder games come along, it can be tough to still look cute and be comfortable. The best solution: cute sweatpants! It is so easy to find super trendy sweats for any school and they look great with anything!

5. Sweatshirts

I have worn sweatshirts to cold games and kind of warm games. They are so versatile and could be worn with any look, anytime! Just a little creativity and you can turn a regular sweatshirt into something cute and trendy!

6. Bandeaus/Sports Bras

Bandeaus are such an awesome trend that has surfaced! So many schools have fun sayings and nicknames that have been represented on bandeaus like "we are" and "happy valley"! Another great thing is that now sports bras aren't just for the gym! They can be really fun with school spirited patterns that are meant to be shown off! Easily pair either one of these with a mesh top and you are all set!

7. Custom Jeans

Jeans are the best basic for any closet, so when considering them for a tailgate outfit, it should be a no-brainer! But, because game days are such a spirited event, your jeans should be just as spirited as you! Jeans with college patches on them are a really creative way to spice up a normal pair of jeans. Plus, they will go with almost anything!

8. Matching Outfits

This was probably my favorite outfit this entire football season. Most BIG 10 schools will have similar outfits, just with their own mascot. It is a super easy to find and fun way to get super spirited for game day! Plus, it is a great outfit if you want to match with friends!
