Dear Future Husband, I Have 20 Things I Need You To Know

With high standards and the fish in the sea dying, here are some things my future husband must know about me.

Before you begin to read this and think, "this is tacky and unoriginal," I want you to realize that these are not your everyday "things you should know about me." But rather, these are the things that I find to be the most important in my young relationships.

It is important for my future spouse, or God forbid, husband, to know that I am addicted to starbucks and nuggets. These are just a few things that my future person should know.

Dear future husband, here's a few things you need to know:

1. I will steal all the blankets at night

2. I will pick fights. Just for the simple fact that I like to keep you on your toes

3. I drool. Not just when I sleep, but when I talk, when I laugh, and even when I simply breathe

4. I snort when I laugh

5. Which results in me laughing harder and snorting even harder

6. I will adopt every cat I see

7. I can't cook. Unless it's cereal or frozen pizza

8. But I can clean

9. I'm not hard to please

10. But I'm also pretty picky

11. Exhibit A: I can't sleep on the left side of the bed

12. Or drink cold coffee

13. I fall in love faster than the average Joe

14. I also cry a lot

15. No, really

16. Don't look at me the wrong way or I'll cry

17. I'm sensitive

18. I will hog the bed

19. I snore

20. I love relentlessly

Now, there is so much more that my potential future husband should know about me, but these are just a few. But, since I am so young and "have my whole life ahead of me," perhaps these are just the things that my future boyfriend should know. Hopefully, he reads this so he knows what to expect. My list is different than Megan Trainor's, but that just goes to show the variety among different women.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
