This playlist came from looking up the first song, Have You Seen the Rain?, and then realizing that I apparently loved Creedence Clearwater Revival. I grew up listening to a lot of different music. My parents grew up in the 60's and lived through some of the most incredible and iconic decades for music. The end of jazz, the rise of rock, the rise of pop, there's so much that they've lived through and even though I'm about four decades behind them, they shared it with me. There are so many songs that I know and love and just never realized who sang them. Dive back a couple decades with me and get your groove on.

Not all of these songs are "funky" but, after a while, I got caught in a spiral of music videos on YouTube and found some favorites from when I was a little kid. They're all songs that put a smile on my face and a little wiggle in my butt.

Hell, maybe you'll find a new favorite band along the way.
