Just can’t wait for Spring Break anymore? Me neither. Take a break from studying for midterms and sit down and watch a few incredible episodes of "Friends". No matter how many times I watch the show I just can’t seem to get enough of the shenanigans.
1. The One With Ross's Tan.
You know, the time that Ross goes to get a spray tan and for some reason can’t seem to figure out how it works. This episode never fails to make me laugh with all of the hysteria involving how tan Ross gets over the course of the episode. Of course nothing beats when the employee asks how tan Ross wants to be, 1, 2, or 3, and Ross asks what he is and the man answers that he is Puerto Rican. Ross quickly says he wants to be a 2. Not only does Ross get this terrible tan, but Phoebe and Monica deal with a horrible old friend who picked up a fake English accent while living in England. Not going to lie, this episode honestly made me terrified of spray tans and now I will absolutely never get one because of Ross’s incident.
2. The One Where Ross Got High.
Rachel’s iconic trifle. That should be enough to get you to go find this episode immediately, but in case it isn’t, this is an incredible Thanksgiving episode. The explanation behind the title is that Ross told his parents that Chandler got high one time and now the Gellars do not like Chandler throughout this episode. Joey, of course, wants to party with his new roommate’s model friends. With Rachel trying so hard to impress everyone with the trifle, she doesn’t realize how terribly she screws it up which is sure to make anyone feel better about any of their cooking mishaps.
3. The One Where Ross Can’t Flirt.
All of the friends gather in Monica and Rachel’s apartment to watch Joey’s appearance on Law & Order before they find out that his scene ended up being cut without him knowing. They order pizza later and Ross is absolutely incapable of flirting with the pizza delivery girl. We all have a friend who is clueless when it comes to flirting so this of course is relatable to everyone.
4. The One With The Prom Video.
If you need a good laugh to make you feel better about your high school years, this is the episode for you. Between the dresses, pre-nose job Rachel, and fat Monica, the episode is full of things to make you laugh. Joey’s friendship bracelet to Chandler, although hideous, is a sweet gesture that Chandler eventually realizes to be true despite his thoughts in the beginning of the episode.
5. The One Where No One Is Ready.
This has to be my favorite episode of all time. I don’t know why, as the plot is pretty average, but for some reason I always laugh the most during this episode. Ross wins an award and invites all of his friends to the ceremony, but no one is ready on time. My favorite part of this whole episode has to be when Joey puts on all of Chandler’s clothes and says, “Look at me, I’m Chandler! Could I be wearing any more clothes?”.
"Friends" gets me through my most stressful days and my most laid back days, and these are some of my all time favorite episodes. The show never fails to make my day ten times better and I hope it makes your day better too.
