To my Best Friend/Sister,

We did it! We survived eight months so far without seeing each other, and during that time only saw each other four times for a short period.

We weren't supposed to still talk to each other because "we will fade away," we spoke at least once a week no matter what.

We spoke like we haven't talked in a day, even though it may have been six days since we were last spoken.

Apparently, it is was supposed to be awkward when we saw each other again, but when we saw each other I:

-Ran up to your car in slippers when your car came by to pick me up on campus in October.

-You came to my house with donuts, then a few days later ran up and hugged each other

-I slammed my face on the window of your car on March 5, when we meet up for an impromptu catch-up date at steak and shake.

We always greeted each other like back in High School, and we'd meet up a 7 am because we had no classes together. We greeted each other like we haven't seen each other in a day, even though it would be months.

Even in far distances, you cheered me up when I need to cry, or I felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack. You would still drop everything and help me, no matter what. You know what makes me smile, and you can still quickly make my days

We always send each other Memes because were Memaolhics.

We keep up with each other on social media and always the first to comment YASS GIRL on each other's photos.

We always talk about our new friends and how it will be like if we attended each other's schools.

You still have a significant impact on my life, and I still aspire to be like you. You have a heart of gold and the confidence of a Goddess.

You are still slayin every day like a BAWSE.

Ironically we have the same GPA and the same dream GPA, but we can get up, its the 2nd-semester miracles can still happen.

As a sister, I love you more than you can imagine. Whenever you do something, I get into the "I'm so proud of my child" mood.

I know your family is proud of you and proud of the long battles that you won.

I hope you know that my mom is proud of you as well. She still sees you as her daughter and loves you so.

You have no idea how proud I am of you, 800 miles away and you are making significant changes. I look forward to the impact you will have on this world.

To those who said long-distance friendships can't happen, look at us, we proved y'all wrong. We did it Shay, and our friendship is stronger than ever.

I love you Sister, and I miss you.

From you Sister,

Mik

P.S remember that if you need anything please let me know and I will drop everything to help you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
