You know who you are, and I can't thank you enough for putting up with me when absolutely no one else will. I seriously appreciate that you don't get upset due to the amount of times I have to cancel due to my own issues. You've always supported me and made sure that I've been okay before anything else. It's really cool how you don't judge me for my mistakes and you applaud me for my success stories.

Yes, we do joke but at the end of the day I know that you genuinely care about me and what's happening in my life. Thank you for letting me call you in the middle of the day and complain about the smallest inconveniences that come my way while you could be having the best day ever. It's even more amazing that when we hang out it doesn't have to be doing anything that requires too much effort, we can literally drive around and have the best time.

Just knowing that you don't get mad at me when I cancel shows how much you actually care about our friendship and how confident you are in the way that we communicate. I'm honestly so lucky to have you in my life and you've continued to show me that it's okay to let things change and progress from time to time.

I've always been scared of things evolving and moving but you've showed me that it's okay to expect the unexpected sometimes as it just may surprise you with an even better outcome. Specifically I would like to thank you for getting me on a level that no one else does and understanding my anxieties and the little things that make me upset, you've never judged me once for those and have always encouraged me to overcome my fears.

We've had so many amazing years of friendship and I wouldn't trade those days for the world. Even on my worst days you're always able to bring me out the darkest places and show me the funniest things that make me laugh the hardest. I'll forever be thankful for how much you care about me and I really hope that you know how mutual that truly is. You're always going to be a best friend of mine and I hope that we can always remain this close because I honestly don't know how I would do life without you. It's absolutely insane to think that most of our friendship is long distance because you live halfway across the country from me. Yes it does suck that I don't get to see you as much but when I do it's literally amazing.

So thank you so much for being you and always having a place for me in your life. I hope that you know much I care about you as well as how lucky I am to call you one of my life long best friends. I'll always appreciate how you put up with me on a daily basis and check in so often to make sure I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Although life isn't perfect and friendships aren't either I know that we are solid and will forever be in each others lives.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
