Yeah, I'm that person.

When You're The Only Friend That Doesn't Watch Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy is a very popular show on the ABC network. The show follows the lives of fictional surgical interns and residents as they evolve into doctors with their own personal stories. All of my friends are fanatics, whereas I spend my time watching shows like Criminal Minds, Graceland, White Collar etc. So naturally, I hear a lot about the show. Grey's Anatomy is still hot with ratings despite having so many seasons.

Here are some things people that don't watch Grey's Anatomy can relate to:

1. Trying to figure out why everyone loves Meredith Grey and Christina Yang's friendship

People often say how they want a friendship like Meredith and Christina. I never understood why it was so special, looking in from the outside.

2. Can agree that McDreamy and McSteamy are beautiful

Honestly, the whole cast is beautiful.

3. Don't need to watch the show because all your friends are live-tweeting

There is usually some trending topic on Twitter when something big happens. And your friends are tweeting in capital letters as it is happening.

4. At one point, even tried watching the show

Not going to lie, with so many people raving about the show, it was inevitable that you would give it a shot.

5. But seeing the doctors dig into human bodies make you queasy

*cringes*

6. You watched the episode when McDreamy died and sent condolences to your friends

Even his death impacted you. So you know that this must have been a rough time for your friends.

7. Wondering how there is so many seasons

How are there 12 seasons of this show? How many more people can these doctors operate on?

8. Knowing who Shonda Rhimes is

Also known as the lady that killed off McDreamy. I do have to give credit to Shonda Rhimes for creating Shondaland and all these interesting shows for us to binge watch.

9. Hearing too often that your friends can perform operations on you after watching the show

I love my friends, but I don't love them enough to allow them to perform open heart surgery on me. And if they theoretically could (without killing me) then why am I still in college getting a degree when I could be learning from a television show.

10. Some of the quotes are relatable

11. Your friend's caption about a best friend is probably "you're my person"

Christina and Meredith's tagline can be seen as anyone's caption.

12. The writers of the show must love making the viewers cry because your friends seem emotionally unstable every other week

The writers must be swimming in big bucks if they can break the hearts of millions of fans nearly every episode. My friends are so emotionally invested in this show that it seems unhealthy. But I guess that's what makes it such a successful show.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
