When I first moved into 1476, it was a barren space that needed a little TLC. Something I had waited five months to do, between the bedding and decorations, I soon made it a home away from home. As the start of summer has begun and all my things are out of 1476 never to see the room again, I start to wonder why I miss the room so much. It holds so many memories such as:
1. The secrets that I told my roommate never to leave you.
2. The countless sing-a-longs to various songs, mostly The Greatest Showman Soundtrack.
3. The place was where I had my anxiety attacks, yet was calmed by my roommate
4. The area that I would often pace.
5. The number of times I had to re-dye my hair red.
6. The place in which many fire alarms happened and that saw when I had to hurry out of the shower the first night after Winter Break.
7. That contains many random conversations and random naps.
8. Football games watched and competitiveness.
9. Bonding moments with my roommate who is now a sister.
10. Bonding moments with my PSP twin and cousin
11. Late night 2 a.m deep thoughts and failed hair curling attempts
12. Burnt food due to mistiming on the microwave.
13. Many phone calls to home with my mom-The place where I realized this is my home and my haven.
Once I started to move out, you began to look like a strange place because I became so used to you. On the last day, you looked empty like I first came in, and I was sad because I knew it would be the last time I'd see you.
To 1476, thanks for the memories. I will never forget you.
