"I feel 'man hating' is an honorable and viable political act, that the oppressed have the right to class-hatred against the class that's oppressing them." --Robin Morgan
Currently residing in the fourth wave of Feminism, the battle for championing women's rights has easily, and without anyone really ever noticing-- or particularly caring-- shifted to something much more domineering than the original battle for basic rights.
Is terming Feminism a hate group a fairly harsh judgement? Sure.
Is it true still? Completely.
Being a woman who has never aligned herself with the same feministic viewpoint as the majority of American women, I constantly have to defend my opinion to said feminist women, who-- mind you-- are supposedly doing everything in their power to encourage all women to feel however they want to feel, and believe whatever they want to believe, all while getting equal pay. That is, unless you're a woman who isn't a feminist.
The first thing I hear from the average feminist when we broach the subject, is how I clearly don't understand feminism. That I must want to stomp on the graves of all first and second wave feminists who fought for the rights to vote, own property, and not be property. That I must think victims of sexual assault are always asking for it. That I am too ignorant to even understand the deeper, intellectual, and philosophical meaning of marching through the streets naked while simultaneously demanding to not be viewed as a sexual object.
It's actually a dumbfounding concept; that the Feminist party today consistently vocalizes their fueled hatred towards men in general, and towards any women who don't agree with them, yet people struggle to grasp the understanding that their so-called campaign of equality, love, and empowerment, is fueled by hatred, spite, and illegitimate adversity.
Like most things that start out with good intentions, feminism itself has been defaced, discredited, and disfigured. The very basis of feminism was never meant to be women against men, women above men, or women without men. It was meant to be women beside men. Today, it's commonly known as women trying to destroy men-- the word 'destroy' not chosen with a light hand.
"I want to see man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high-heel shoved in his mouth, like an apple in the mouth of a pig." --Andrea Dworkin
Feminists belittle men, in a way that is chillingly haughty, claiming openly that "all men are rapists, and that's all they are." (Marilyn French). It's not only demeaning, but hypocritical-- and it's almost laughable, really-- that the leading influencers for equality are the very one's stifling the existence of any sort of success within a gender that isn't their own. It's profligacy. It's slander. It's degenerate.
"Men who are unjustly accused of rape can sometimes gain from the experience." --Catherine Comins
'The future is female.'
That's the slogan that's plastered across the feminist campaign, constantly flooding your every day field of vision in the form of bumper stickers, trendy #GirlPower t-shirts, and cheesy Instagram captions.
It's disturbing, really. Anytime you take into account the true meaning behind those words. The future isn't just a female leadership movement to them. It's female only; completely rid of men, idealistically. There are many problems with the modern-day feminist movement, but the underlying belief that women must rid the world of men in order to 'save' it, tends to lead the way for all others.
"The proportion of man must be reduced and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race." -- Sally Miller Gearhart / 'The Future-- If There Is One-- Is Female.'
It's genuinely malicious. It's frigidly cool; that it's not just a hatred, but a literal, formed legion that has specifically engineered and crafted themselves to attack one singular group of people as a whole, with no regard to the individual. Not merely through slander, smear campaigns, and threats, but with the true belief that all men are-- quote-- "rapists" and that the earth needs to be "decontaminated" of them.
The belief that feminists are anything less than antagonistic is false.
It's a notion of genocide. It's pipe dream annihilation.
It's blind hatred, and it's alarming.
