Six Bulldogs were drafted in the 2018 NFL draft. Both of the top running backs were taken and one of the best players in the nation at linebacker went top-10.

The draft choices went as follows:

Roquan Smith - 8th Overall, Chicago Bears

Isaiah Wynn - 23rd Overall, New England Patriots

Sony Michel - 31st Overall, New England Patriots

Nick Chubb - 35th Overall, Cleveland Browns

Lorenzo Carter - 66th Overall, New York Giants

Javon Wims - 224th Overall, Chicago Bears

Undrafted:

Aaron Davis - New York Giants

Davin Bellamy - Houston Texans

John Atkins - New England Patriots

Trenton Thompson - Cleveland Browns

The Bears, Patriots, and Texans all qualified for the postseason, meaning there were six Dawgs making it as well. Sony Michel is the leading rusher for the Patriots in the playoffs and has taken his team to the AFC title game.

Michel finished the regular season with 931 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also had 7 receptions for 50 yards.

Michel's former running mate at Georgia, Nick Chubb, also had a nice rookie season as a pro. After playing sparingly over the first few weeks, Chubb managed to take over as the featured back.

Chubb finished the year with 996 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns. He had 20 receptions for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Roquan Smith, the 8th overall pick in the draft, quickly became a starter alongside Danny Trevathan and Khalil Mack in Chicago. Smith helped lead one of the best defenses the NFL has seen since the Broncos went to the Super Bowl. Smith ended the year with 89 solo tackles and 5 sacks.

Isaiah Wynn is looking forward to next season after suffering a torn Achilles in the preseason. He was projected to start at tackle for the Patriots and he will likely reclaim that spot for the 2019 campaign.

Sony Michel is already one of the better running backs in the NFL, much to the surprise of many fans who didn't watch him at Georgia. To UGA fans, this is what everyone expected. The best running back duo in Georgia history and one of the best ever at the collegiate level will continue to make their marks on the game of football.

Some fans were disappointed that Michel and Chubb had to split up when they transitioned into the professional game but it may have been for the benefit of both. Both players are now considered the future at running back for their respective franchises.

Maybe the best thing of all though is the fact that Sony Michel gets to play with and learn from the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL, Tom Brady.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
